President signed the Law on the Ratification of the Agreement on the Promotion and Protection of Investments between Ukraine and the OPEC Fund for International Development
President Petro Poroshenko signed the Law of Ukraine on the Ratification of the Agreement on the Promotion and Protection of Investments between Ukraine and the OPEC Fund for International Development adopted by the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine on December 5, 2017.
The Agreement creates a legal framework for the development of cooperation between the parties and the attraction of investments and grant resources of the Fund, including in the public sector.
The delegation of Ukraine, in accordance with Decree of the President of Ukraine of June 24, 2016 (№ 275), held talks on the conclusion of the Agreement on the promotion and protection of investments between Ukraine and the OPEC Fund for International Development. The document was signed on May 26, 2017 in Vienna.
Today, 134 countries of the world cooperate with the OPEC Fund for International Development, implementing energy efficiency projects, transport and infrastructure development, improving food security and access to water resources, improving healthcare, etc.
