Due to its generous soils and favourable climate, the territory of today’s city has been settled since ancient times. Keeping of Vinnytsia’s chronicle was initiated in 1363 and was connected with the attempts of Grand Lithuanian Duchy to maintain its domination over Podillia after the defeat of Tatars and Mongols.

On the territory of Khotyn Fortress were many wars and battles. It was the center of crafts and trade, culture and economy for many centuries. This medieval fortress can tell a lot to those, who wish to hear it...
Kachanivka is one of the most beautiful and most romantic places in Chernihiv. Taras Shevchenko, Mykola Gogol, Marko Vovchok, Myhailo Glinka, Mykola Markevich, Myhailo Vrubel inspired and worked here.


Arboretum “Sophiivka” in Uman (Cherkasy region) is one of the most popular places of interest in Ukraine. There are hundreds of tourists all over the Ukraine every weekday in Uman.
The Dominican church and monastery is one of the oldest temples of glorious Lviv city. The building is in keeping with historical center’s ensemble. This building can surely impress and surprise a modern tourist. Along with other temples in Lviv, it is included on UNESCO’s list of World Heritage Sites.
The Palace of Pototsky is the monument of architecture built in classical style of 18th century in Tulchin.
War of national liberation is a national liberation uprising headed by hetman Bogdan Khmelnitskiy in 1648- 1657 against the political authority of Rech Pospolyta. As a result of this war, Ukrainian statehood was restored.
