President signed the Law on the Ratification of the Agreement on the Promotion and Protection of Investments between Ukraine and the OPEC Fund for International Development

President Petro Poroshenko signed the Law of Ukraine on the Ratification of the Agreement on the Promotion and Protection of Investments between Ukraine and the OPEC Fund for International Development adopted by the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine on December 5, 2017.

Ukrainehad been in the accession process for 14 years, one of the longest negotiations in the WTO. It became the 153-th full-fledged Member 16 May 2008.
The cooperation in the military sphere is carried out in pursuance of the tasks outlined in Annual National Programme for NATO – Ukraine cooperation within the framework of Working plans of NATO – Ukraine Military Committee and Individual Partnership and Cooperation Programme.
Ukraine has actively participated in the UN peacekeeping activities since the very first years of its independence. It has become a significant troop-contributing country, as well as a staunch supporter of the UN peacekeeping operations (UN PKOs).
Ukraine became one of the founding-member of the UN in 1945. It was recognition of the Ukrainian nation contribution to the victory over fascism and strengthening of the peace in the world. Delegation of Ukraine took an active part in the founding conference in San Francisco and made a valuable contribution to the development of the UN Charter.
The Euro-Atlantic Partnership Council (EAPC) is a multinational forum for dialogue and consultations for 50 countries (28 NATO member-states and 22 partner countries) on political and security issues.
